Aced Co Pty Ltd - Game of Skill Terms and Conditions

Video recording is in place during competition hours for verification and integrity of play.
Footage may also be used for promotional purposes as set out below. Participants who do not wish to have their image or footage used for promotional purposes may opt out prior to participation.
1. Promoter
The promoter of this game of skill is Aced Co Pty Ltd (ABN: 44 698 550 935).
2. Competition Overview
The game is a hole-in-one competition.
Participants must pay an entry fee and attempt to hit a hole-in-one.
If successful, participants win the prize indicated on the sign at the time only if they have met the necessary criteria and it's verified by the Aced camera system.
3. How to Enter
Participants must successfully complete the entry process and pay the required fees for their entry. To do this you must:
- Scan the QR code displayed on the competition sign located at the hole.
- Participants must register or log into their account.
- Participants must take their shot.
4. Eligibility
Participants must be aged 18 years or older.
Staff of Aced Co Pty Ltd and employees of golf courses where competitions are held are ineligible.
Any player that currently has or has held professional status with any golf organisation are ineligible.
All entries must be completed during an authorised round of golf.
5. Participation
Each player is permitted one attempt per round of golf, per hole.
Players must adhere to all official rules of golf.
The hole in one including ball entering the hole must be captured on camera.
The green and cameras must not be obstructed during play.
All shots must be recorded successfully by the Aced cameras for verification purposes. Other recording devices are not accepted.
If a ball does not enter the hole, the entry is unsuccessful.
If a player hits a hole-in-one but fails to meet any of the terms and conditions, the entry will be deemed invalid.
If the ball falls into the hole after the recording has ended, the entry will be deemed invalid.
6. Points System and Calculation

Points are calculated and awarded automatically through integrated systems.
Manual verification may be required for certain activities including hole-in-ones and social media engagement.
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to audit and verify all point-earning activities.
7. Notification of Hole-in-One
Participants must notify Aced Co Pty Ltd within 24 hours of hitting a hole-in-one.
Notification is done via the website or app or email, along with submitting required information.
8. Technical Issues and Refunds
A valid entry requires successful video capture and recording by the Aced system. If the video is not captured, the system goes offline, or any other technical error occurs, the entry is not valid for any competition or component of competition.
Technical issues include but are not limited to: camera failures, network outages, system downtime, recording failures, data transmission errors, and software malfunctions.
If technical issues prevent the capture or verification of an entry, participants will be refunded their entry fee where applicable.
Aced Co Pty Ltd is not liable for any prizes where technical issues prevent valid entry capture or verification.
Technical issues affecting point allocation will be resolved at the discretion of Aced Co Pty Ltd.
9. Decision of the Promoter
All decisions made by Aced Co Pty Ltd are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Claiming
Players must notify Ace Addicts to claim their prize.
Players have 24 hours to submit a claim via the Ace Addicts website dashboard or if unable to claim via the website, players may send an email to info@aceaddicts.com notifying of their claim.
All prizes will be paid within 14 days to the winner's nominated bank account after Aced Co Pty Ltd has verified and confirmed all terms have been met.
To claim, winners must enter a valid Australian mobile phone number via the Ace Addicts platform.
Only Australian mobile phone numbers are supported for prize delivery.
Winners are responsible for ensuring their mobile phone number is correct and able to receive SMS messages.
Aced Co Pty Ltd is not responsible for prizes not received due to incorrect phone numbers.
11. Amendment and Withdrawal
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend or withdraw any competition due to uncontrollable circumstances.
12. Liability
Aced Co Pty Ltd is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage in connection with any competition except as required by law.
Aced Co Pty Ltd is not liable for any prizes, winnings, or benefits where a technical fault, system error, or failure prevents valid entry capture, recording, or verification.
Aced Co Pty Ltd is not liable for entries rendered invalid due to technical issues, including but not limited to video capture failures, system outages, network errors, or equipment malfunctions.
Participants acknowledge that technology systems may experience faults and accept that entry validity is contingent on successful system operation.
The maximum liability of Aced Co Pty Ltd in any circumstance is limited to a refund of the entry fee paid for the affected entry.
13. Privacy
Aced Co Pty Ltd is committed to protecting participants' personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
By entering competitions, participants agree to receive communications regarding future promotions.
Participants can opt-out of communications at any time.
14. Termination of Competition
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to end any competition at any time.
15. Tax Implications
Independent financial advice should be sought regarding the tax implications of winning any prizes.
16. Disqualification and Point Forfeiture
The promoter reserves the right to disqualify participants for inappropriate conduct or rule violations.
Any decision by Aced Co Pty Ltd related to the eligibility of any claim is final.
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the absolute right to void any entries, points earned, or achievements that do not adhere to these terms and conditions.
Points may be deducted or forfeited for activities that were improperly credited, obtained through fraudulent means, or do not meet the stated requirements.
No compensation will be provided for voided entries or forfeited points.
17. Compliance with State and Territory Regulations
All competitions comply with applicable state and territory laws.
18. Permits and Approvals
This game of skill do not require permits under Australian law as no chance is involved in determining winners.
19. Disputes and Jurisdiction
Disputes will be governed by Australian law and resolved in Victorian courts.
20. Proof of Identity and Age
Aced Co Pty Ltd may request verification of age, identity, residential address, and entry validity.
21. Modification or Cancellation
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify or cancel any competition in response to unforeseen circumstances.
22. Promotional Use of Content
By participating, entrants consent to the use of their name, images, and competition-related content for promotional purposes.
23. Taxes
Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with prizes and should seek financial advice.
24. Fraud and Tampering
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to disqualify participants engaging in fraudulent activities or tampering with any competition.
Participants found to be artificially inflating points through fake accounts, automated systems, fraudulent social media engagement, or any other manipulative means will be immediately disqualified from all competitions and have all points forfeited.
All participants must compete fairly and in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
Collaboration between accounts to artificially boost points is prohibited.
Multiple accounts per individual are not permitted.
25. Data Integrity and Verification
Points are primarily awarded through automated systems integrated with golf course technology, social media APIs, and video analysis.
Automated systems are subject to periodic audits and adjustments.
Aced Co Pty Ltd reserves the right to manually review any point-earning activity.
Disputed points or achievements may require additional verification from participants.
These terms and conditions are effective as of the date of publication and supersede all previous versions. By participating in Aced competitions, participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
