·      Records of communications, including customer service contact records of live chats, online tickets raised, emails and any other forms of contact with our customer service team.

·      Transaction and usage data, including information about online browsing behaviour and details of any products or services you have used.

·      Technical data, including internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, and other technology on the devices you use to access Aced.

·      Survey data, which may include education, occupation, marital status or other background information.

We may also collect and hold other personal information that you choose to provide to us.

We also collect aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data from your use of the Aced service. Aggregated data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.

If we are not provided with all the personal information we request, we may not be able to provide to you the full benefits of being an Aced member. We generally collect and record your personal information directly from you. You may give us your personal information when you complete online forms or by corresponding with us by email, phone or otherwise. This includes personal information you provide when you:

·      request that the Aced camera system records your golf shot as part of a competition entry.

3. How does Aced hold my personal information?

We take reasonable steps to maintain the security and privacy of your personal information. This includes using encrypted 256-bit SSL connections on all of our web pages where you transmit personal information.

All personal information is encrypted when not in use and we only store personal information in Australia.

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for or for the purposes of satisfying any fraud detection and prevention, legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

4. For what purposes does Aced collect, hold, use and disclose personal information?

We collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information primarily to perform our business activities and functions and in order to provide you with the benefits of being a member of the Aced service, including:

·      personalise your experience;

·      analyse, maintain and improve our service;

·      broadcast and distribute entry footage via third-party platforms such as YouTube & TikTok, including on in-venue screens at affiliated golf courses and the Aced website, where you have not opted out before the time of entry.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Aced may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any amendments will take effect when we publish the revised Privacy Policy on our website. We encourage you to check our Privacy Policy regularly for updates.

7. Third-Party Platforms

Where you have not opted out at the time of entry, footage of your golf shot may be broadcast on third-party platforms including YouTube.

Once footage is distributed to third-party platforms, those platforms' own terms and privacy policies apply. Aced cannot guarantee the removal of content from third-party platforms once it has been published.

Your opt-out preference must be selected before recording begins and we cannot guarantee it be applied retrospectively to footage that has already been broadcast or distributed.
